About Dusseldorp Skills Forum

Dusseldorp Skills Forum (DSF) has been working for Australia’s young people for twenty years. Established on the retirement of Dick Dusseldorp from the company he founded, Lend Lease Corporation, the Forum develops and advances the innovative practices of those who engage young Australians in acquiring skills for a sustainable future.

Young people need to be encouraged and able to develop into productive and independent adulthood. This central idea of Dick Dusseldorp underpins all the work that the Forum does. Our work is collaborative, and centres on research, projects and advocacy.

  • We are a non-partisan, independent, not-for-profit body and fund our own work.
  • We work with communities, industry, government and non-government organizations.
  • We generate ideas, research, tools and information, and build networks of common interest.
  • We are not a grant-giving body. We are not simply a think tank that has no connection to practice. We’re interested in better ideas certainly, but not in ideas alone.

So rather than simply talk about here about ourselves, explore our site. Here you will find the ideas, the research, our partnership activities and projects. You’ll find reflected there both a flavour of our history and the range of present activities.
