Document Types
Most of the documents on our website are one of the following three
types.
Acrobat files
Acrobat files end in
the letters ".pdf"
You can view Acrobat files
using the program Acrobat Reader. Most computers will have Acrobat
Reader on them already, but if you don't you can download it for free
from this website:
http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html
Once you
have the program called Acrobat Reader on your computer, simply double
click the file you downloaded to open it.
Word files
Word files end in the letters ".doc"
Sometimes characters
in Word documents may not appear correctly. This is because they may
contain characters that use a font that you do not have on your
computer. To view/print the correct version we recommend you download
the Acrobat (PDF) version (if available) instead.
Powerpoint
Powerpoint documents end in the letters
".ppt"
It is IMPORTANT that you follow the
procedure outlined above for downloading powerpoint files, othewise
you may have problems viewing the document.
Most computers
have Microsoft Office on them, which includes Powerpoint. Otherwise
you will need to buy the Microsoft Powerpoint program to look at
Powerpoint files.
