The island: Hospitality

The hospitality program is one of The Island’s most popular workshops and is under the supervision of a qualified chef. Catering daily for some 50 people this workshop produces a variety of high quality and diverse meals that cater for all tastes and ethnicities. Students participate in all aspects of safe food handling and kitchen practices and learn the value of nutritious food and how to prepare meals from scratch. An Island student can obtain various VCAL qualifications from this workshop as well as
