Community Learning Teams Resources
|
Community Based Learning is a structured approach to learning and teaching that connects meaningful community experiences with academic learning, personal development and active citizenship. Unlike social service and other forms of voluntarism, community based learning is connected directly to mainstream curriculum and assessment, and requires that students reflect critically on the outcomes and processes associated with that experience. The Resource Kit houses resources that will assist in implementing Community Learning Teams such as facilitator's guides, project brief handouts, finding a mentor etc. The Resource Kit can be downloaded onto your hard drive. Please note that this resource is in PDF and Microsoft Word format.
