Mentoring

Mentoring is a mutually beneficial relationship which involves a more experienced person helping a less experienced person to achieve their goals and it is something that's integral to many DSF initiatives.

This website includes a wide range of papers, resources, mini-sites and links to other sites that offer valuable insight into Mentoring Schemes, with particular focus on Youth Mentoring, both at a national and international level.

Included is everything from practical information on how to become a youth mentor to a set of benchmarks developed by a group closely associated with a range of mentoring programs identifying what they believe are essential features of any good mentoring program.
