MENTORING: Principles and Benchmarks for best practice Mentoring Australia, the national association for mentors and mentoring programs, convened a representative group of mentoring practitioners with significant experience in the development and management of mentoring programs to develop the following benchmarks.
This document outlines a core set of priniciples which are recommended for use in establishing and managing effective mentoring programs and is designed for use by mentors, managers, and government and other funding agencies.

Plan-it Youth Manuals Plan-It Youth is an innovate mentoring project offering young people who are at risk of leaving formal education/ training early, the opportunity to plan for their future careers and find a positive way into further training or employment. It provides support, through community mentoring, to young people at risk , exposing them to other experiences of life and increasing their opportunities for a successful transition from school.

Workplace Learning: A Handbook for trainers, mentors and coaches Being chosen as a trainer, mentor or coach for a trainee means you have been recognised as someone who has skills and knowledge valuable enough to teach a recruit to the workforce. This Handbook contains: practical information and support material, ideas on how to improve your skills in communication, teamwork, motivation and problem solving, and a self analysis chart to aid reflection and assist you to focus on how to achieve your own career goals.
